The strategy between the two candidates appears to be “Don’t answer questions, just talk about how the other guy stinks”. Biden is a bit better than Trump in this regard, but overall, not great.

Private, Not Apolitical
For the past few months, I have been actively working on my mental health. For context, I’ve always been kind of a grumpy guy. When I was younger, I was loud and opinionated. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve chilled out significantly, around other people, but in my own brain I’m as loud as ever and … Continue reading “Private, Not Apolitical”
Actually Protecting Kids
This Pride month, a trend has developed that is driving me insane. There is a response to almost any LBTQ+ topic that goes something like “Just leave kids alone”. I’ve seen it too much. It’s silly, it’s harmful, it’s (usually) just a smokescreen. Take this report from NBC News, and you’ll see the trend I’m … Continue reading “Actually Protecting Kids”
God Does Not Legislate
I don’t believe God has ever written a bill or passed a law in the United States. Until he does, I think deferring responsibility to him is shameful and makes one unfit to serve in government.

Why I Believe the Supreme Court Ruled Incorrectly
Yesterday, the Supreme Court acted on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization in a decision that overruled the court’s previous ruling on Roe v. Wade. For context, Dobbs v. Jackson…was a case on a Mississippi state law that banned abortion operations after the first 15 weeks of pregnancy. My understanding of this decision is that … Continue reading “Why I Believe the Supreme Court Ruled Incorrectly”
Complaining about censorship on social media platforms? Make a website.
Yesterday, Twitter banned Trump. The current President is no longer welcome to post on Twitter. He’s suspended from Facebook until the end of his term. I think he’s at least suspended from YouTube. Platforms have seen enough. They are throwing in the towel. Showing him the red card. If you dig around Twitter enough you’ll … Continue reading “Complaining about censorship on social media platforms? Make a website.”
Predicting a Biden win, and when we will know.
Growing up, my dad used to say it’s not over until the clock reads “0.0”. For readers who are not into sports, this means that it’s not over until all of the game clock has run off. However, if you’re a football team up 28 points and there is 1 minute left, it’s safe to … Continue reading “Predicting a Biden win, and when we will know.”
Trump Has Few Paths to Victory
As the election inches ever closer, memories of 2016 continue to bubble up in the minds of voters. I think it’s safe to say we all recall the idea of “Trump has no chance”. That was obviously a flawed line of thinking and although hindsight is uh…erm…2020…it’s easy to look back and see where the … Continue reading “Trump Has Few Paths to Victory”
