So We Got a Dog

The headline kind of ruins the surprise but Joslyn and I got a dog! Dani here is a mini poodle rescue and we love him very much. Excuse the mess in the photo. We weren’t great about cleaning his first couple of weeks here.

We always had dogs growing up. I recognize now that I probably spent a lot of time talking to them. I talk to Dani all day and he always seems to be interested.

It’s been a busy month. I’ve completely fallen out of my running routine since adopting him but he’s been getting a lot of walks so it hasn’t been complete inactivity.

I’m very happy to have him. My life is better when dogs are in it.
